The meeting is divided into two sessions; three organisations will each speak about its purposes and specific translation needs. The last 30 minutes of each session will be used for Q&A and networking time

PeaceBoat:
Peace Boat is a non-profit NGO in Special Consultative Status
with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, that organizes
global voyages for international exchange and understanding. Since its
foundation in 1983, 51 voyages have built a grassroots-level network of global
citizens, with 22,000 participants having visited nearly 200 ports
worldwide.

反差別国際運動（IMADR）は、被差別マイノリティ自身による草の根人権活動の国境を越えた連携・連帯の促進、それらと国内・国際レベルにおける提言活動の連携促進、ならびに国際人権保障メカニズムの発展への寄与を通じて世界から一切の差別撤廃を目指している国際NGOです。日本の部落解放同盟の呼びかけにより、国内外の被差別団体や個人によって1988年1月に設立されました。1993年3月には日本に基盤を持つ人権NGOとしてははじめて、国連経済社会理事会との協議資格を取得し、ジュネーブにも事務所を設置して国連関係機関へのはたらきかけにも力を入れています。

The International Movement Against All Forms of Discrimination and
Racism
(IMADR) is an international non-profit, non-governmental human rights
organization devoted to eliminating all forms of discrimination around the
world, forging international solidarity among discriminated minorities and
advancing the international regime of human rights. Founded in 1988 by one of
Japan's largest minorities, the Burakumin, IMADR has grown to be a global
network of concerned citizens and minority groups with regional committees in
Asia, North America and Latin America. IMADR is in consultative status with the
United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
