Part I

1) Brief description of myself

Name: Kilian Muster

I was born and raised in Germany.

I started using computers around 1983 (I was 12 then) with a Commodore 64, which was followed by an Amiga 1000, then Amiga 1200, then PC (those dark ages) running Windows 3.1, then first encounter with NeXTSTEP.

When becoming a Typographer I learned all the nitty gritty details of the Mac and Mac OS 7, 8 and 9.x. In 1995 I got myself my first Mac. In 1997 I came to Japan (with my desktop Mac in the luggage!), here I got my first contact with Linux (MkLinux from Apple) and liked it, but it wasn't ready to replace my desktop OS (and I'm afraid still isn't). My biggest wish was if only there was a way to take the best out of the Mac and UNIX and built a new OS with that. Be OS was close, but alas they abandoned the PPC. And finally my dreams became true with Mac OS X which I have been running as my main system since 10.0.4.

In Japan I've been mainly doing design work, multimedia design, motion graphics/2d animations, video editing and system administration (Linux and Mac OS X).

2) Brief description of demo
