At present, we hold open meetings approximately every two months in the Kansai area. The meetings are announced about three weeks in advance. Meeting reports (including some photos) of our past meetings are available if you click on the links in the meeting schedule above. In the past, we have had meetings in Kobe, Osaka and Kyoto, but we are not limited to these locations and are open to ideas for interesting locales and events.

Be a speaker: If you have something interesting to say about a translation-related issue and want to be a speaker at one of our meetings, we would be delighted to hear from you! Please send us your name, the topic you want to talk about and preferred time and place. JAT offers a small remuneration for speakers, and in turn expects the speaker to write up a brief report for publication in the JAT Bulletin and on this website.
