JAT Needs Your Help!

JAT is an organization that is run by volunteers. This means that the more help we get, the better services we can offer our members. Being a JAT volunteer allows you the chance to play an active part in a thriving professional organization and work together with other enthusiastic members of our profession. If you are interested in any of the positions listed below, please let us know by contacting either the Board or the person listed in the column on the right.

Website Coders JAT is currently revamping its website and adding new material. As part of the coding team, you would help create the "look" of the site and keep it up to date. Ideally, you should have some experience coding html, but other than that, no special knowledge is required. Brian Hyman
Content Acquisition JAT is always presenting different material via its website. being responsible for content acquisition, you would locate new content for the JAT site - articles, book reports, or anything else that might be of interest to jat members. The key qualification for this position is persistency (don't let potential authors brush you off by telling you they're busy!). You should also have a couple of ideas regarding possible contributors, so ideally you would be someone with some experience (and contacts) in the business. Fred Uleman
Jat Bookshelf Jat offers a web-based bookshelf as part of its website with information and resources for translators. You would maintain the bookshelf and integrate it into our book recommendations corner. Board
